カバーアルバムを飛ばして数えると「Use Your Illusion I -II」から約８年、新曲の「Oh My God」の発売と同時期に発売された、初のオフィシャル・ライブアルバム。どこか一箇所で録音されたものではなく、世界中で行ったライブを繋ぎ合わせて作ったもの。全曲の正確な日にちが割り出されいるわけではないが、スティーヴンのプレイしていた時期の物も含まれているし、ツアー中の東京ドームでの演奏もちゃんと収録されていたりする。メンバーによると、それほど音はいじられていないとのこと。（ただし、アクセルのヴォーカルに関しては、音源の検証等により、かなりの部分でリ・レコーディングが行われたと推定されている）
