Guns N' Roses - 1986-xx-xx - dub of "UZI Session 86" cassette
Another year another batch of tapes. Here's an upgrade for the 5 Pasha '86 tracks that are not on the Alan Niven CDR.
A while back I had remastered the old bootleg LP sources and included those on my 'Cocked And Loaded' compilation, which had every known/circulating track missing from the AFD boxset.
What we have here is those 5 tracks from a non-lp source. They come from a unknown gen dub I recently bought of the original 'UZI Session 86' demotape.
There's a fair amount of hiss, but it's still a clear upgrade over what we had, with more overall 'fidelity', no lp step in the lineage and no remastering or noise-reduction whatsoever.
All tracks also run at the correct speed. The other tracks on the tape are obsolete since we have them in perfect quality on the Alan Niven CDR, but I've included them anyway to keep the transfer of this particular tape complete.
There may or may not be slight differences in the mix as well, see for yourself.
