Cocked And Re-Loaded v3.0

Cocked And Re-Loaded v3.0 [The Definitive Missing 'Appetite For Destruction / GNR Lies' Era Demos v3.0]

Guns N' Roses

-> Conceived as a supplementary compilation to the AFD Super Deluxe Boxset. It includes all the known/circulating recordings from the era that were not included in the boxset, and/or have never been officially released (on cd). All tracks have been compiled from the best possible sources. All tracks are lossless. Key tracks now run at the correct speed for the very first time. Aside from level adjustments and speed-correction, all tracks were left untouched, so none are marred by the traditional commercial bootlegging 'tricks' like noise-reduction, brick-walled mastering etc. This is raw, in your face, just like GNR in the AFD era. <-

Technical notes v3.0 :

- upgrade Track 7 : no longer lp step in lineage, unfortunately brickwalled so hold on to your v2.0

- upgrade Tracks 18-22 : no longer lp step in lineage, transfer from high-gen copy of original demo tape, still much more dynamic than the old lp transfer

- upgrade Tracks 10-17 and 23-25 : speed-corrected, can't believe I didn't notice this in v2.0, as did nobody else, 10-17 ran too fast and 23-25 ran too slow
