Additional notes : Mats L. kindly reached out to me after my request for a better Copenhagen '91 copy in my previous torrent. There is only 1 known/circulating source for this show, but boy this is a MASSIVE upgrade to what we had ! A copy labeled '1st gen' had been circulating for decades (even bootlegged as 'War Lord' on the Japanese label Aces High - complete garbage remastering, please avoid), but I found a lead for an upgrade tacked onto the Costa Mesa tape I shared earlier. Mats L. has provided a 2nd generation copy of this recording, that not only sounds WAY better, it also runs at the correct speed (previous copy runs too fast) and is about 6 minutes longer ! This is the definitive version of this recording (until the master turns up), all previous copies are obsolete and can be trashed.
Technical note : While this is arguably one of the best audience recordings on the whole UYI Tour, it has its faults unfortunately. Right before 'Estranged', the recording reverts to mono for the last two songs. This is inherent to the master and no attempt was made to correct this. Was the taper trying to save battery time ? Other than that, there is a slight fade in and out (tape flip/defect ?) during the finale of 'Paradise City', which is not present on my incomplete copy. My copy is also slightly longer at the end, Mats L.'s copy fades out earlier. No biggie, I chose to respect his work and left this unaltered. All in all, 'mission Copenhagen '91' accomplished All credits to Mats !
