Notes: There was only 1 known/circulating source for this show, a professional video shot by GNR's video crew for use on the video screens at the sides of the stage. This torrent presents a new unsurfaced second source, a complete audience recording. This came with the tape of the first night, so most likely the same taper. Amazing to finally hear this well-known show from a different perspective. There's a few tiny bits that are not on the video. As a kid this show was the first bootleg I ever heard, aside from the obvious Paris/Tokyo '92 videos and the Ritz '88 audio. I think I can recite this show in my sleep !
Side note: I believe The Govner also taped this show, but to the best of my knowledge he hasn't ever made that recording available, since he deemed it inferior to the video rip. I cannot assess if my torrent is his recording or not. Correct me if I'm wrong !
